That crazy seller eBay 44natasha has listed this again, and this time the poster isn't laying on the grass.
Could Jim have the auction for this poster on Ebay taken down since it could be a fake which is a copyright violation? This person keeps on relisting this over and over again.

The same seller (under their previous user name) did offer a "reconstruction" (read as digital copy) and lots of folks gave Jim a heads up. But there was nothing he could or was willing to do. This fiasco of a print has been widely commented on over at Phish Posters.
The douchehead relisted this again. This time donating 10% of the final sale price to the Alzheimer's Association.
I love how the story changes too:
As you know, this is The Holy Grail of Phish Posters. It is thought that only around 65 out of a supposed lot of 100 prints exist due to the destructive weather and that Great Went bonfire. This poster is not signed or numbered BECAUSE THE TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR ever-so-slightly made the paint run causing Jim to yank it from the lot. You can see this if you look closely. I was corrected by the person who remembers more of the interaction with JP that THERE IS NO DRINK SPILL.
I'd like to see everyone Click Here and submit an offer to the seller of $0.02 with the comments You suck! Stop trying to rip people off!

Its been done, and it doesnt help. The best thing to do now is to ignore it. Hes been listing it for months, he isnt going to stop.ncernak wrote:'d like to see everyone Click Here and submit an offer to the seller of $0.02 with the comments You suck! Stop trying to rip people off!

Wonder if the sale is legit....
Since the buyer's ID is private I seriously doubt this is legit. I guess we'll know in a few weeks if it shows up on ebay again.
Im pretty sure the mokey's paw has been won at least once before, but its had such a rugged history that I may be mistaken...
I feel sorry for whoever purchased the monkey's paw if it really did get purchased...

I was at the Great Went in '98 and don't remember all that much about that entire month... Kudos to those Phish Phans that had the foresight to get these out of the elements before the boogie started in earnest
