So I just wasted $160.00 on a custom frame for the foil variant. The actual size of the poster width is 15 1/4 inches. Yeah I should have measured the print myself, but I thought.. fudge this is the poster of the year, so of course who ever listed it posted the correct measurements. Guess I shouldn't have assumed it was correct. Surprised no one else has noticed this mistake. Mods might want to change this. I'm too pissed to measure the length, so who knows if that's correct or not. Wasting money is awesome!
Oh and the artist edition is also 15 1/4.

You know what they say about what happens when you "assume"
you make an "a$$" of "u" and "me"

Gee, that's too bad. I changed the width to 15.25 inches. I'm sure other members would appreciate it if you would measure the length to see if that needs correcting too.TheThirdEye wrote:So I just wasted $160.00 on a custom frame for the foil variant. If you find that needs to be changed as well, post it here ---> EB Entry Corrections. Thanks.

it's pretty common the measurements are not listed correctly from what I have seen- this is nothing new.
If I had to guess the problem lies with people entering the art and not actually owning it to measure.

Normally I don't rely on the measurements listed. It's completely my fault for not double checking. I placed the order while at work, so I didn't have the poster right next to me. I figured that with the exposure that this poster has, and the length of time it has been listed, the measurements would surely be correct. I won't make this mistake again. All that said, I'm still pissed off, but mostly at myself.

I picked up one of the foils signed by Emek and Aaron but not the band and am very happy about it. I thought for sure there would be more action on these. Is it out of sight out of mind and everyone has moved on? This was the POTY last year!greenhorn1 wrote:electrachrome wrote:http://www.charityfolks.com/cfauctions/ ... slrid=2107

what did they end at? I stopped watching when it seemed like they weren't going for that great a price. granted, it was for charity but that also means they're less likely than normal to know how to properly ship a $400+ poster

I believe the 4 signed by Emek and Aaron went for $350 each. The six signed by Emek, Aaron, and the band all went for more than that, mostly in the $400 - $475 range.
My thought is they will be shipped by one of the artists. I don't get the feeling they have them on hand.
