Originally 5,000 UNSIGNED prints, and 500 SIGNED prints (not numbered) were created for Boost Mobile RockCorps' first US concert held at Radio City in September, 2005. The unsigned prints were handed out to concert goers as they exited the venue. However, the 500 SIGNED versions were accidentally not handed out and remained in hand for vendors and friends of the program. SO, these 500 are extremely rare, in fact a number of them, at least 300, were purged and discarded. Finally, 50 prints were signed by the artist of the show and given to some volunteers and employees, unfortunately these artist signed prints are not signed by Shepard Fairey. Overall, there are 3 versions of this print.

BACKSTORY:
Back in 2005 Shepard Fairey and his team were tasked with designing the art for the first ever RockCorps concert in the US. The goal was to get youth engaged in their community through volunteering. In partnership with Boost Mobile, RockCorps' start-studded hip-hop show at Radio City Music Hall was only accessible by giving 4 hours volunteering around NY CITY. 5,000 Youth Volunteered and earned a ticket to the concert.
For the concert, 5,000 prints were made UNSIGNED, and handed out to concertgoers. BUT, 500 prints were signed by Shepard Fairey and never got handed out. Over 300 of those signed prints were discarded (why, I don't know!). A few hundred survived, and 95 have just surfaced for the first time available to the public.
