I know it's been posted before, but that bottom one is just a photocopy of the lineart. Still pretty cool though to see all the detail that was covered up by the lettering in the final version.
At first I thought the 'Grails' lettering was part of the original image because of how integrated it is into the line art.

I can imagine a set of the Grails line art watercolored à la custom OTA.

Here's an interesting one I ran into tonight.

- Burlesque claims the nest is made out of a "decaying sea urchin"
- Shingo says it's a "giant seed pod of a wild cucumber" (here's a pic of one)

I'm inclined to trust Shingo's quote, but anyone know for sure?
