Artist info: I’ve not come across information regarding the artist other than being named “DEVORE.” In an attempt to figure out who the artist was I did some research and reached out to an individual who I believed was related. This person confirmed the artist was Darrell DeVore. This is that person’s reply:
“My <redacted for privacy>, Darrell DeVore, did make several psychedelic-style posters during the late 1960s and early 1970s, and if "DeVore" is on this poster then it is most certainly by him. Of course, feel free to share this information with the poster collecting community!
As you know from the obituary, my <redacted for privacy> was a member of The Charlatans in San Francisco, so he not only made posters for events such as these, he also performed in them.“
https://www.sfgate.com/news/amp/Innovat ... 648579.php Is the article I found about the life of Mr. DeVore that led me to believe he was the artist, specifically the mention of KPFA: the benefit of the concert on AOR 2.79.
