Can't wait to see what the flippers think this is worth. I'd bet most think over $1,000...but they're joking if they think this is cooler than most prints at that price point (Whale Bone Grove, Fight or Flight, Halloween 95, Astron, Atlanta 99, Shoreline 00, Albany 99 -- actually most of those you can get for less than $1,000)..morons.

Let me get this straight… You're speculating what the flippers will think it's worth and based on that speculation your suggesting for people what's "cooler" for the money ? It's like a public service announcement for people who have no opinions of their own. Gotta love expresso beans.
Sorry, already saw what someone wanted for it ($1000). And for a print that literally just came out? Cooler may have been the wrong word, but one can certainly get a print with a little more vintage and that has proven its worth over time (and thus a better investment) for $1000. If you wanna spend 1000 on this, go right ahead. To me it doesn't have any of the things that should put it at that price range like super high-end paper to name one. Add on the fact that it literally just came out? Plz. Way to get butt hurt about it though.downtown wrote:Dalek wrote:Can't wait to see what the flippers think this is worth. I think we can all agree that $1000 or $1500 for a just released screen print is madness. And that it's interesting you could take that same money and buy the rift giclee, a phish Emek 95, a grateful dead Oxford circle, etc. it's nothing about the art, which is great, it's just, well, as I said, madness. But things are "worth" what people will pay, and that's the world we live in. I'm personally bummed this one will take off so high because it'll not likely make it to my collection, but you can't win em all.
