Great detail in this bird, looks like Mike put some extra effort into this one. I'm a big fan of the fat bird series, having picked up every bird since the Cardinal. I wasn't collecting early enough to get the pre Cardinal birds at a reasonable price, but this is a nice tribute to the few people that have full sets. I for one would love to see if anyone has all the birds framed, that would be a HUGE wall of birds. I currently have 8 of my birds framed, not sure where I would fit any more without it getting a bit too "birdy" in here.
The Royal Flycatcher "golden ticket" should make opening up a Rose Breasted Grosbeak pretty fun!

Really cool gesture by Mike. Really cool that you guys were early bird supporters. Wish I'd been paying attention!technique wrote:Super excited to be getting one of these. Never in my life did I expect anything to be done like this and is a really great gesture from Mike.
