So I just picked this up on eBay for a very reasonable price. I'm curious as the description of the item I bought says that the print is a "printer's proof". Can anyone tell me exactly what this means? The print should be arriving tomorrow so i will be able to see if it is signed by LD or not (guessing not). Are printer's proofs normally significantly lower value?

as for value, it really just depends. I would have thought printers proofs of durieuxs would go for a little above average but since the seller has quite a few copies and the auctions have low starting prices, folks are getting good deals IMO.

when it arrives I'd be curious to see if these are signed and what markings are on these (eg "PP")

From the auction it looks like it's signed but in orange maybe not the purple of the normal run

yea.. hard to tell. I think the seller is just reusing the pictures from past auctions tho
