The Durieux easily wins in my opinion.SULACO wrote:I supposed you talking about this:
You preffer this more than the Durieux one? seriously?
This. Love the Welker (and all QT Stouts too), but blood all over the images keep em in the flat file and off the wall.finneganm wrote:Difference is people will actually hang the Durieux.
I wouldn't deal with JakeStanley / eBay user fratdaddyjake
Each piece has strong points and neither fully sums up the movie which is a testament to Tarantino.

Yes and maybe that's just because in general I'm a bigger fan of David's work than I am Laurent's work.SULACO wrote:I supposed you talking about this:

Huge Welker fan here.
Huge Durieux fan here.
Huge Pulp Fiction fan.
Life = Good.
Although, having just watched BG's printing video for the Welker, it appears as though the print size is 16x24. Was really hoping it would be 24x36. But this siE will work nicely hanging next to dazed and confused.

Most of the line work is actually a vector program. Only a small amount of the character details are hand drawn, but it's still a great technical composition and I'm sure it will look amazing. I got one.Deadareus wrote:The Durieux is absolutely stunning.
I can't wait to see it in person. Although most posters are more impressive in person, none more so than Durieux's IMO. That line work just looks so great. I could stare at his work for hours.

Quote from durieux: " when i make a poster, i want to be sure that if i hang it in my living room, ill never be bored to look at it. Thats what i want for my fans when they look at my posters."
Well once again you made it laurent...

I see. I guess I never really put much thought into how the lines were created... but I do know that I love to look at them.downtown wrote: Most of the line work is actually a vector program. What an incredible year for Laurent - his 2014 output and quality were both off the charts. Great to see his talents enthusiastically recognized and rewarded, it makes a crazy world seem a little more sane...
Welcome to the sleaze pit
