DD, I'd take you more seriously if you'd return e-mail from your fans and actually sell some of the stuff you've created. Let's get some of that art out in the hands of the people, rather than just talking about it and complaining about the artists imitating you. At least they're making their stuff available to collectors.danieldanger wrote:
first thing i thought of was daniel dangers 'lets be kings' print too.
this fudge is getting way lame. is this what happens when i dont have a store for 3 months? its a free for all?

imitation is the greatest form of flattery
and DD is working on the new store. Can't blame him for crashing a server because of the demand. The man's working on it.

Are people here really condoning forms of plagiarism?
I thought the IQ in here was a little higher than THAT.

is it really 'straight plagiarism'?
plagerism? that would never hold any ground. go grab a calender from borders books and you'll see all kinds of pictures like this.thesavageguy wrote:Are people here really condoning straight plagiarism?

Okay, maybe not STRAIGHT plagarism, but there really arent many differences here. For a print as well known as Kings, I would never expect to see something this close. It has to raise an eyebrow, right?

@ all ..calm down...
imo both prints may get the same theme at the first look - but a different story behind the picture....this is art!!! the only connection i see are the trees and the deer....nothing else....nobody has got an copyright for that. so iwouldn't call this plagiarism.
just think about....love both prints for different reasons.
