I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this one. I mean we already have how many different interpretations of this iconic film include ding the prized Durieux and that one pretty much summed it up. Then you have the Matt Verges one where it has more of the characters within the water. I don't know...maybe I should try for it and once it's in my hands I will see why another one was produced.

I don't think the Durieux 'summed it up.' It's a cool and clever print, but it's not the be all end all. If anything the original poster makes it tough for artists to come up with a new and/or better interpretation, because it's one of the best posters ever made.BBQDBANTHA wrote:I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this one. I agree, The Dureiux reminds me of art work by the Kennedy Gallery .. It is a cool interpretation...

Jaws has so many iconic scenes... There are many images that could be used.... The bitten raft floating in the bloody water... The scene with all the vigilante fisherman leaving the docks.... The billboard of amity vandalized... The barrels popping up.... I would love to see Stout or Moss do a Jaws print.... I would have chosen Jaws if I had one the Olly Moss Golden Ticket...

thanks for posting the images... I don't know how to do that. But a lot of the art work from the Kennedy studio uses the same style that Derieux used in the Jaws print. Which is Awesome.... I live on the Cape and spend a lot of time on Marthas Vineyard .. My mom grew up there and The guy that raised her was hired by Spielberg to set up Bruce, his other boat was used as a production boat for the cast. His scrap book is amazing...
