So what is the actual story here? you going to print more, or just call the edition at a lower number? if so what number?RomanMorales wrote:Just to clarify, Burlesque did not "run out" of paper in the way people say. I don't know where that came from. Burlesque ordered the paper in the proper amount but French did not deliver in the proper amount of paper for the LA version. Burlesque was not aware till they reached the end of printing that the manufacturer had not delivered the proper amount of paper.... Just to clarify.

Sounds like a lot of areas are in need so some serious Project Management.
Still have not received my prints or communication on when/where/if they will ever be delivered.

Not humanly possible to get any more luls out of a single print release.
When are they selling the next sub! I'm in!

Lol well they shouldn't even need more money. Didn't they already pay Burlesque for X number of prints to be produced? Seems like they should just tell Burlesque that they paid for an order and they expect them to fulfill it. In return, Burlesque should similarly crack some skulls with its paper supplier for not fulfilling their order.partpat wrote:chalkdust wrote:when we run out of paper at my print shop, I have the paper company send a courier with more..
Cause you all have money to get more paper .. Bet OCE does not
Who just lets a vendor tell them "hey we didn't do it all. Sorry, but good luck with all of your pissed off customers" without making it right somehow? I'm assuming there must be more to this story than that.
Because it's the print we deserve, but not the one we need right now. So we'll hunt it.
Let's not start sucking each other's dicks quite yet.

And why should the customer (whose money has been taken hostage for months now) be penalized for poor management by getting a refund if the run isn't finished? Is that any way to run a business? This info surrounding the supposed "paper problem" shouldn't even be reaching the consumer. You take someone's money the don't want excuses, they want results. Fix it and keep the problems in house!
