Really like the layout of this set....reminds me of something that would actually accommodate one of the older books.

I just went with LOTR, but for precisely this reason. Going up next to the bookshelf

Thats exactly what I thought. It would comfortably fit in the first few pages of the early hard back editions of either book. Infact its a great thing to BS your friends about...a print from over 40 years ago.

My One Ring came in today, but with a decent sized dent in the tube which ended up right on Barad-dur :(

Direct from cakeandcomics.com. It's flattening right now, so I'll see how it looks in a few days, I might be able to live with it
