Does anyone realize that this concert tour in Australia was cancelled?!

This poster adverts a show that didn't get to happen.

It's so cool how they used the classic Space Invaders theme.

I think this poster should go up in value. A good investment for the Art-Rock collector.

Yes - hence the name of the piece.

There are actually quite a number of concert prints out there for cancelled shows - these things happen...

On Ebay I saw a copy of this print for sale. It was signed and numbered. It was 219 of 500 and said 2nd. This was the 1st time I saw this. I will try and add it to the site.

Some of the shows were actually played (I was at the Melbourne one)

The alleged story is that one of the Beastie's family got sick and they had to go home.

They returned later in the year, finished the shows and played a couple of bonus shows at a nice small theatre in Melbourne.

The shows were awesome.

I got a speeding ticket the day they went on sale as I was racing to the ticket outlet.

Correction - this is the poster for the rescheduled shows.

There is another poster for the part-cancelled tour.

I've had this poster hung in my office for a number of years now, and look at it even more often now that MCA has passed. He was ill-in', and now he's chill-in'. :(

Cant believe no one has pointed out the typo on this poster. Should read - Hordern Pavilion.

I am sure there are other typos on a few posters out there...
