Rob Jones must have missed -
the airline in his silkscreen is not Jack's 1964 model
infact the model RJ seems to have pictured is the
2005 crappy re-issue from eastwood guitars
a few factors point this out
-pickguard is not the same as jack's (jack's points outward instead of curving for the volume knob)
-bridge is made of silver (jack's 1964 model has a brazilian rosewood bridge)
-this model has no white binding around the rim of the body (1964 models do as they were 2 hollow shells of fiberglass held together with this rubber binding)
BTW the reissue airline is not a crappy guitar, they are in fact higher quality than the originals. I know because I have one. Also, the reissue comes with humbuckers the og has single coil pickups.
Cheers,
D

I just watched the Modern Marvals about Nikola Tesla. I didn't realize how brilliant and ahead of his time he was with the inventions he had. Definately worth watching. It made me think of this poster, I want to frame it now.

Thanks. As a person who recently picked up this poster, I figured I would comment on it.
I can't wait to get it framed. I think the matte used will really make a difference.
Any have any suggestions on framing this poster?
Plus, it was a great show too.

And as for framing ideas - you really can't go wrong on Rob's WS prints with simple black/white/red mattes - I would double matte this with a red bottom matte using 1/4" visible for that matte and a nice deep black top matte. pj101ca has a great set of the 03 Columbus/Indianapolis prints that are done this way - ultra sweet.
