Do elaborate on the 'enhancements'...FithNick wrote:That is ridiculous. Somehow, Mitchell copies this scene and enhances it tenfold. Brilliant.rubberneck wrote:

I just fail to see the unique artistic input and would be more than happy to be informed otherwise...RiotAct wrote:RubberNeck your opinion is bad and you should feel bad!
What has been added artistically besides a few clouds? Color palette and composition is almost identical.

"I've seen a complaint or two that this is just depicting a scene from the movie, like I was trying to sneak it past everyone. It's only one of the most memorable scenes in cinematic history, and I was asked to depict it. Shame on me I guess, hah!"

I don't really see how he enhanced it at all but it is a great scene. Doesn't mean it should be copied and pasted for the poster though this feels phoned in to me, like it wasn't a real exercise of MM's creativity.

Artistic depiction could have been from a difference perspective, from below, POV of rider, above etc, providing a fresh artistic take on a truly iconic scene.PrintNoob87 wrote:FWIW - Mike from Facebook

This is none of the above, just a direct depiction of the film image. Its still a great image, I don't disagree, but not an original artistic composition.
Those who love it, have at it!

This is not the original one sheet.Pineapple007 wrote:Is this the variant from the original one sheet? I think this was already done.
sometimes i mondo hate for fun and dont always mean it

No the shame is that you had the chance to be paid to depict one of the most memorable scenes in cinematic history and you either mailed it in or are a one trick pony with your pop culture satire bullshit. an epic scene deserves an epic representation, or none at all.I've seen a complaint or two that this is just depicting a scene from the movie, like I was trying to sneak it past everyone. It's only one of the most memorable scenes in cinematic history, and I was asked to depict it. Shame on me I guess, hah!"

Where is this quote from?
Also, this 'one trick pony' stuff is a bit...off. MM might have one of the biggest ranges of art style and design out of most of the artists discussed on this thread. You happen to not like MM, good on you.
