DaFatGuy wrote:I bought a 5 3/4 X 7 handbill edition of the 1982 reprint the listing stated the following:

"This classic Griffin handbill was printed along with the Jose's late night printing of the poster in 1982. It advertises a concert for the Grateful Dead, Sons of Champlin & Initial Shock at the Avalon Ballroom in 1969. A classic masterpiece 5 3/4" X 7" on coated card stock with bright rich colors and in Near Mint Condition(no flaws). "

Anyone have any more info?

Later
I also purchased this handbill from Jose's printing, 1988 @ 5 3/4"x 7" per seller. I found one site online that verifies a handbill was made but it doesn't give size nor date. EB doesn't show it exists either. EB, is this legit? Can you open a slot for posting sales? I paid $6.95 mint.

Have second and third printing. Look at the second everyday above my screen. Never tired of it. Psycedelic to the max.

Thanks. Bought it from Robert Alcott, one of the organizers for Rick's show in London. Here's what said "The first 100 of each poster were signed in my presence at my home in London by Rick just before the Roundhouse show in 1976." Mine is signed in the lower right hand corner in what looks like ball point pen.
