EB Art of the Year 2009

Voting has opened for ExpressoBeans' 2009 Poster of the Year and Art Print of the Year awards! Please take a few minutes, head to the front page of the site, and use the "EB Art of the Year" module to the right to register your votes
The vote itself is completely automated: the vote is programmed to run each year at this time, using art created in the previous year that received the most votes for Art of the Week, and the most page views.
It has been noted that there are entries classified incorrectly (i.e. Art Prints appear in the Poster category, or vice-versa). This is due to human error in both the initial submission and the approval of the given piece. EB entries will automatically appear in the vote however they are categorized, so if the mistake isn't caught by a volunteer or by an EB Member and posted in the corrections thread, it results in the current situation. Unfortunately, once the vote automatically begins, corrections don't affect the current incorrect vote categories. Last year was the first year we had separate categories for Art Prints and Posters, and after having the same issue we had talked about a "dry run" where the vote would be set up a few days early and volunteers could double-check all the entries that made the vote, but that will have to be something for Engineering to work on for next year's vote
The vote will run until 1AM sever time on the 20th of January. Have fun!
