Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

Is Mondo doing another Black Friday event this year, or would they have already announced it were they planning to do one?

Transporting framed prints

I'm moving across the country next year for school, and figured it'd be a good time to start planning out how I'm going to move my framed prints (I have three at the moment, might have framed a 4th by then). What's the best way to do that? Any particular companies who are really reliable with this k...

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

At SDCC, does Mondo provide tubes with the posters, or is it a "bring your own tube" deal? Got a friend who will be at the show and will pick stuff up for me if it's available, but I don't want him carrying it around all exposed and everything.

"I just bought a Zardoz poster!" is a sentence I never saw myself typing up.

Re: Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series

Do we know which version of "Zion" is the variant? I'm hoping the blue version is regular/open edition. Given the photo they recently teased I'm thinking that is not the case. I'm assuming that the blue version is the reg since that was the one they were showing off on the site, and that they're sh...

Re: Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series

Good God, I need to have that Zion variant. I'll probably just bite the bullet and get the sub. $150 in free prints is nice, and I imagine there will be 13 prints minimum that I'll want out of this given the artists who seem to be involved. I've been researching Olympic National Park and it looks ab...

Re: Black Dragon Press

Damn, this was the first time I've ever been really torn between a variant and reg. Went with the variant because I figure it'll look stunning when framed. WBYK took a while to grow on me, but they've been on fire lately and this is probably my favorite print of theirs. Can't wait to see what else t...

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

Tula Lotay.... Thank you Based Mondo. And it's great to see more Sam Bosma. Not gonna get my hopes up, but crossing my fingers that they put these online quickly like they did during the Originals show last year. The artists I'd be going for aren't exactly the big guns so I should have a dec...

Re: The Battle of Algiers 16 Shaw

Hmm, kinda conflicted. BoA is one of my all-time favorite movies, one that remains just as powerful no many how many times I watch and that always feels contemporary. Not sure I love the print though; it's growing on me the longer I look at it, and I like that it calls back both to the bombing seque...

Re: Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series

I was really hoping they'd use the Subway for Zion, but I'll still buy the hell out of that thing. Dying to see who's on Denali and what it'll look like.

Re: Foamcore sandwich questions

Thanks for the advice. I don't really have the table space available to lay the prints on, so I'm just going to put them on one of piece of foamcore and flatten them on it, unless that'll be a problem. As far as the glassine goes, is this acceptable? http://www.amazon.com/Glassine-Rolls-25-inches-ya...

Foamcore sandwich questions

Got into the print hobby last year, and figured to get the paper out of those tubes. I was going to purchase two pieces of foamcore today to start storing my prints, but I was looking to clarify a few things before I start and to avoid ruining everything forever. Should I let the prints sit out for ...
